Our awards at the AVPA - Oil of the World International Competition
La Tourangelle oils have been awarded medals during several editions of the International Competition of World Oils organised by the AVPA (Association for the Valorisation of Agricultural Products). We are proud of these distinctions which reward the work of our teams, the quality of our oils and honour our know-how and our innovations. "Oils of the World" International Competition
The AVPA competition is aimed at vegetable oil producers and has been held for 20 years. Each year, some 20 countries participate and present a total of more than 400 oils.
The « Oils of the World » International Competition in which La Tourangelle oils are participating is organised in two distinct parts:
- Olive oils, with a rich classification allowing the expression of all traditional tastes
- Seeds and nuts oils This section includes all edible vegetable oils. In this section, flavoured sunflower, grape seed, olive and other oils are also judged.
Since 2003 the jury has been chaired by Christian Pinatel of the Centre Technique de l'Olivier.
2022 - 20th Oil of the World International Competition
For the 20th anniversary of the competition, we have presented a selection of our medal-winning oils. The competition awards will take place on 10 and 11 May 2022, live on Youtube.

In the 2021 competition, 3 of our oils are presented and awarded medals among seed and nut oils, blended oils and flavoured oils.
